Whether sharing spirited conversations over breakfast, going for runs in the beautiful outdoors, or constantly challenging each other to make the world a better place, Patrick Quinn, Sean Kelly, and Joey Oswald strive to live with hope and spread joy. As members of the University of Notre Dame Class of 2020, they are passionate about serving others and working to make this world a better place.

Patrick and Sean met the summer after freshman year while working for a program called Notre Dame Vision. They had the incredible opportunity to serve and shepherd high school students through this campus ministry program, an experience that led them to realize the incredible importance of hope in each of our lives. Joey and Sean lived as roommates in Morrissey Manor at Notre Dame before taking on the roles of Resident Assistants in their hall during their senior year. Their work as RA’s provided an amazing platform for building relationships with students at ND. Through those friendships, they also discovered the essential role that hope played in the life of ND students, whether that be in the forms of faith, future aspirations, or personal goals. In this current time when hope can be hard to find, it’s easily apparent that this is just what the world could use. When Patrick came to Sean with the idea of starting a platform to share letters of hope with others, they put their heads together and recruited Joey to help them create this website. Please join the three of us in our mission to spread one of the most important human needs during this trying time!

Leaving Notre Dame with a Physics major, concentration in Astrophysics, and Theology supplemental major, Sean is passionate about understanding others' stories. He strives to live hopefully and joyfully and wants to help others do the same. His current projects include constructing a miniature backyard grotto, learning new piano and violin songs, running every road in his small hometown, and being fully alive in this difficult time.

With a degree in Neuroscience & Behavior, a passion for French, and a calling to medicine, Patrick leaves Notre Dame striving to be a "light" in this world. He hopes to pursue Medical School in the coming years, after first taking a Gap Year to volunteer with the French Language. Currently, he is continuing his motivational Podcast "Living As You," playing lots of piano, dominating the home workouts, and eating lots of tuna and multigrain chips!

Joey is a graduate of Notre Dame who has studied Business Technology and History the last four years as a double major. He is passionate about helping others, especially combining his love of service with his enthusiasm for technology. He will be entering the ACE Program this summer as a teacher (God help his students!) and is excited to share his thrilling passions with them!
